Aisha Hinds, an American actress who is best recognized for her roles on the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut, she's shown her range of talents by appearing on series such as Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. She was first noticed for her character Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. Her role in the biographical film All the Way as the women's right activists Fannie Lou Hammer brought her to the attention of the public. Her portrayal of Harriet Tubman on WGN America's historical drama Underground was also highly praised. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 9-1-1 was renewed for the third installment from 20th Century Fox Television. Hind finished the filming of the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is scheduled for release in mid-2019.
